This conference is the once-a-year chance to connect with a wide range of transportation scientists, engineers, policy folks, and others. It is a large conference (thousands of people and many talks and poster presentations) held in DC. Although road ecology seldom is a prominent feature of the conference, that could be changed by participation and papercontributions! Center co-director Shilling will co-present two papers and will co-chair the Animal-Vehicle Subcommittee meeting, as well as participating in the Committe on Transortation and Ecology.
